Meet Morgan
OWNER | WIFE | MOTHER | YOUR RELATIONSHIPβS NEWEST THIRD WHEEL
Hi there! I am Morgan Johnson and welcome to Sunflower Events!
βI am a Kansas native and I have lived in the Wichita area since 2017. I met my husband, Kevin, in college. We have a sweet and spunky little husky named Nova and in June 2024, we welcomed our son, Adonis into this crazy life of ours!
βMy wonderful husband and I were married in October of 2021, I loved every single second of planning my own wedding and toyed with the idea of starting a business for about a year. After speaking with several friends and family members, I decided to take the leap!
βWhen you find the right career path, everything seems to fall into place and that's the experience I have had with this business. I coordinated my first wedding only one month after my own and everything felt right. Until then, I had never felt a true "calling" to a career, but I felt it that day. Watching the bride, groom, and their families enjoy a stress-free day was an absolute dream and now I want to help others make more dreams come true!
Emily Kaspar
LEAD PLANNER + COORDINATOR
Hi, Iβm Emily Kasparβa planner at heart, a mom of two, a 2nd grade teacher, and someone who believes deeply in the magic of a wellβthoughtβout wedding day. My love for events started long before I ever stepped into this role. I planned my own wedding and genuinely enjoyed the processβbut I also realized just how essential it is to have an extra brain and an extra set of hands to make the day run smoothly.
Growing up, I watched my mom work as a floral designer, and being around weddings from such a young age taught me the value of details, timing, and artistry. Those early experiences gave me a natural eye for aesthetics and a deep appreciation for the behindβtheβscenes work that makes a celebration unforgettable.
Today, planning and coordinating weddings is both a creative outlet and an extension of my personal strengths. As a teacher, Iβm organized, patient, and calm under pressureβskills that translate beautifully into guiding couples through decisions big and small. I love offering support, clarity, and practical advice so you can feel confident, excited, and truly present on your wedding day.
Whether itβs transforming your vision into reality or helping you navigate the hundreds of choices leading up to it, Iβm here to make sure everything comes together seamlessly. My goal is simple: to help you experience every moment of your day with joy, ease, and total peace of mind.
Emily Peltier
LEAD COORDINATOR
Hello, my name is Emily Peltier. I have been planning or assisting on weddings since 2020. I am an insurance agent by day and enjoy going to concerts/live music. I fell in love with wedding planning after watching "The Wedding Planner" and I knew that's what I needed to do!
It is always so amazing to see how different and special each wedding is. P.s. Iβll do the worm at your wedding if requested!
Hayley Dannenberg
LEAD & ASSISTANT COORDINATOR
Hi, Iβm Hayley! My journey with Sunflower Events started before I ever joined the team. I first saw Morgan in action as a bridesmaid in a friendβs wedding β and honestly, how often do you get to take a wedding coordinator for a test drive? Watching her calm presence and attention to every detail sold me instantly, and I booked her for my own wedding on the spot.

After experiencing what it was like to be a Sunflower bride myself, I knew two weddings with this team just werenβt enough β I wanted in. I joined as an assistant coordinator, fell in love with supporting couples behind the scenes, and now serve in both assistant and lead coordination roles.
During the week, youβll find me teaching third grade. On wedding days, I bring that same patience, organization, and heart for people to every timeline, detail, and happy tear β so you can relax and fully enjoy your celebration. I canβt wait to be part of your day!

Hello! My name is Emily Crank.
Growing up in El Dorado, Kansas, and working in technical theater, I developed a passion for creating memorable experiences. Whether it was building set pieces or managing shows, I loved the process of transforming ideas into reality.
When my sister suggested I explore wedding planning, it felt like a natural fit. Planning her wedding and joining the Sunflower Events team has shown me just how rewarding it is to be part of such a special moment in people's lives. The joy and excitement that come from turning Pinterest boards and dreams into tangible, beautiful events is unmatched. Being able to combine my love for creativity, organization, and helping others is what truly draws me to this field.
I am thrilled to be part of a team that shares this passion and can't wait to help you create your perfect day!

Hi! I'm Malerie Davied.
I'm a born and raised Wichitan- I took a brief break from Kansas for college but am happy to be back home working as a pediatric dietitian. I love baking sourdough, traveling, being involved at my church, walking with friends, and a good cup of coffee!
After being a bridesmaid several times (not quite 27 dresses!), I had the opportunity to be a coordinator for a friend's wedding. I absolutely loved ensuring the little pieces came together so she could be present on her wedding day with her groom and guests. My favorite part of weddings is seeing the special touches that reflects the couplesβ personality and Iβve never seen a flower bouquet I didnβt like! Iβm excited to help bring your dream event to life.

Hello! My name is Kayla Saens and I am an Assistant Coordinator for Sunflower Events.
I am a Wichita local and enjoy serving this community and the unique populations that it holds. I completed my education in 2019 and received my degree in Psychology. Now, I spend my weeks working at Wichita State University and assisting students during their educational journey.
In 2021, I was a bridesmaid in my brotherβs wedding. I found myself coordinating the entire wedding simply because I wanted his big day to be special, memorable, and stress free for him and my sister-in-law. This is when I realized that I wanted to explore this line of work further.
I started working for Sunflower Events as an Assistant Coordinator the year following my brotherβs wedding. I enjoy the small details and creative aspects that go into weddings and large events. Assisting with weddings and playing a part in making each one as special as the next has been a dream. I cannot wait for the future weddings to come!

Hello! My name is Alyssa.
My journey with Sunflower Events has been such a sweet and full-circle experience. I first saw Morgan in action at a childhood friendβs wedding, and watching her seamlessly execute the entire day, I knew right then I had to book her for my own wedding.
After experiencing firsthand what it means to be a Sunflower bride and coming from a background in events, I was incredibly grateful when Morgan invited me to join her team. I graduated with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication, which strengthened my skills in organization, attention to detail, and thoughtful planning β qualities that serve me well both as a Marketing Proposal Coordinator during the week and in the fast-paced, joy-filled world of weddings. Planning my own wedding and working in events deepened my appreciation for how meaningful this season is for couples, and being part of such a special day is something I never take lightly.
On wedding days, youβll find me wherever Iβm needed β setting up dΓ©cor, fixing a strand of hair, adjusting a boutonniere, or stepping in to solve any last-minute need with a smile. I love seeing the joy on everyoneβs faces and will gladly insert myself to make sure you feel cared for and completely at ease.
One of the most meaningful aspects of this work is the relationships that naturally develop. I genuinely value the connections I build with each couple, and long after the wedding day has passed, I continue to cheer you on and support your marriage for years to come.
I canβt wait to be part of your day and help make it everything youβve dreamed of!

Hello! My name is Ainsly Tolman.
I was a military kid, growing up in Sanford, North Carolina and moving to Wichita, Kansas as a teen. I've spent a lot of time working and volunteering in this city and I've made some great memories over the years.
In December of 2024 I graduated with my bachelors degree in Information Technology and Management Information Systems, I'm a big numbers girl. I have always had a knack for organizing and planning. As I got older I had a lot of people around me tell me I should give event planning a try.
I reached out to Morgan in September of 2025 asking to shadow a wedding or two with her and her team and I loved it! It has been an eye opening experience to find something I truly love doing, and I am so excited to learn more. I have never been around such a positive supportive team, and I'm so happy to be a part of it!
